FIAT Showcases Versatile New Models and Concepts at Paris Motor Show

FIAT has used the Paris Motor Show to reveal several new models and concept vehicles, highlighting its current growth and vision for future mobility. This includes the European debut of the compact family cars Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback, plus two concept cars exploring flexible vehicle use.

New Family Cars Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback Arrive in Europe

The Paris event marks the European introduction of FIAT’s Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback. Both models measure under 4.5 metres and offer a spacious 3.5 m³ interior volume, making them practical options for family use. The Grizzly Fastback aims to attract buyers seeking a sportier silhouette, while the Grizzly focuses on versatility.

Boot space differs slightly, with the Fastback providing 608 litres compared to 545 litres in the regular Grizzly. FIAT offers petrol, hybrid, and fully electric powertrains, available with manual or automatic transmissions. The starting price is expected around €20,000, and European orders will open on 5 January 2027. Both cars are displayed in Paris with a 145-hp mild-hybrid engine in La Prima trim.

Concept Vehicles Point to FIAT’s Future Mobility Ideas

FIAT’s Multiplina and MULTIPLAY concepts showcase new ways to use vehicle space. MULTIPLAY stands out with its ‘Metamorfosi’ architecture: a movable rear section that lets the car switch between a 6+1 seat family setup and a four-seat pick-up with an open bed.

The MULTIPLAY concept also features clever touches like a rotating rear spoiler that becomes a bike rack, a front passenger seat turning into a lounge-style ‘Sunseat,’ and modular areas for pets and children. Its design recalls FIAT’s history with compact yet spacious models like the 1956 600 Multipla.

While innovative, MULTIPLAY is a concept rather than a direct preview of a production model. It represents FIAT exploring future possibilities rather than an upcoming release.

Highlights from FIAT’s Urban and Iconic Models

The display at the Paris show also featured fan favorites like the Grande Panda, the 500 Cabrio, and the sporty 600 Sport. The Grande Panda was showcased in mild-hybrid La Prima trim with a yellow two-tone finish. The 500 Cabrio La Prima, celebrating its 20th generation anniversary soon, wears a distinctive Rose Gold colour. The 600 Sport was shown with a 145-hp mild-hybrid powertrain and green two-tone paint.

FIAT also emphasized its leadership in urban micro-mobility with the Topolino electric quadricycle. Europe’s best-selling model in its category, Topolino was presented in three versions: the closed Sport, the glass-roof Corallo, and the open-top Verde Vita.

Strong Growth and European Market Focus

Since 2021, FIAT has led Stellantis in volume, passing a million units sold globally in 2026. The brand is growing steadily in Europe—with 20% volume growth this year and rising quickly in private buyer rankings, reaching the Top 5. Its broad range covers urban, compact, and family segments, reflecting a commitment to simple and practical design.

FIAT’s presence at the Paris Motor Show, styled as a modern Italian piazza, brings together its latest production and concept vehicles in a colorful, welcoming setting. The presentation echoes the brand’s focus on accessibility, simplicity, and playful innovation.

European customers can expect to order the Grizzly models starting January 2027, with all powertrain options available immediately. More details on production and availability will emerge closer to launch.
