Fiat has updated the Grande Panda electric by adding a larger battery, pushing its range up to 400 kilometres. This marks an increase of 80 km over the previous model and aims to make the small electric car more practical beyond city driving.
Bigger Battery, Same Power
The updated Grande Panda Electric switches from a 44 kWh battery to a 54 kWh pack. The electric motor stays the same, delivering 113 horsepower, so the extra battery capacity improves range but does not add performance. The official WLTP range rises from 320 km to 400 km, making the car more competitive among urban electric hatchbacks.

Charging Changes and Pricing
Fiat has also made a change to the charging system. The 7.4 kW integrated charger with built-in cable is no longer offered. Instead, the car now comes with an 11 kW internal charger but requires an independent charging cable. This enhances charging speed, especially useful given the bigger battery size.
The price for the new 54 kWh version is about €2,000 higher than the original, starting at €27,499 in the Netherlands. Fiat expects a similar premium when it launches this version in Spain, where the Grande Panda Electric currently begins at €24,450 with the smaller battery.

Equipment and Design Remain Unchanged
Visually, the Grande Panda Electric looks the same as before. It keeps the same LED pixel headlights and stylistic features. Inside, no updates accompany the battery boost, keeping the cabin and options unchanged.
In the Dutch market, optional packages include winter comfort gear, all-season tires, roof bars, tinted rear windows, and tech upgrades like a rearview camera, rain sensors, and automatic climate control. However, it is not yet clear which of these extras will be offered in other countries.
Fiat offers the new battery option across all three trim levels: Pop, Icon, and La Prima.
The larger battery and improved charging speed could make the Grande Panda Electric a more appealing choice for buyers needing greater range without raising power or changing the car’s compact design.
