The latest spy photos reveal several key changes on the upcoming X2. The front and rear bumpers are more aggressive, and the car features blue brake calipers and a quad exhaust setup—details typical of BMW’s sporty M performance models. The new face adopts the wide “visor” grille style seen on other Neue Klasse cars, while the rear also has a fresh design.
Inside, a long display stretches across the dashboard below the windshield, hinting at a new infotainment screen similar to other recent BMW models. These elements mark a clear step away from the current X2, making it easier to spot the updated model.

While the M40i name has not been officially confirmed, insiders suggest the new model may receive this label, potentially indicating a power boost over the current engine.
