Stellantis reported improved financial results for the third quarter of 2026, with net revenues rising 1% from the same period last year to €37.6 billion. The company managed to reduce its net loss by 90%, thanks to progress in its ongoing cost-saving programs and better operating income.
Revenue Gains Driven by Europe and South America
The revenue boost came mainly from the Enlarged Europe and South America regions, both showing a 3% increase in net revenues year-over-year. This growth stemmed from higher volumes and favourable currency exchange rates. In contrast, North America experienced a 3% revenue decline due to planned production slowdowns. Meanwhile, the Middle East & Africa and Asia Pacific regions saw significant drops of 19% and 7% respectively, mainly because of lower sales volumes.

Profitability and Cash Flow Trends
Stellantis recorded an adjusted operating income of €0.3 billion in Q3 2026, improving its operating margin by 0.5 percentage points to 0.7%. Most regions delivered positive margins except Enlarged Europe, which faced a 3.4-point margin decline. North America led the margin gains with an increase of 3.4 percentage points.
Industrial free cash flow improved by €0.3 billion, though it remained negative at €4.0 billion, reflecting cautious progress toward better cash management.
FaSTLAne 2030 Progress and Outlook
Stellantis continues to advance its FaSTLAne 2030 plan, focusing on new product launches and enhanced manufacturing quality. The company is also ramping up its Value Creation Program, aiming to hit 40% of its total €6 billion efficiency target by year-end. Management reaffirmed its 2026 financial guidance, expecting positive industrial free cash flow in 2027.
Key factors for the coming months include aligning production with demand, managing North American inventory to match previous years, and stable pricing trends heading into Q4. However, Stellantis noted ongoing challenges such as tariff costs estimated at around €1 billion for the year, along with incremental expenses from memory chip shortages and vehicle recalls.
Regional Sales Highlights
- North America: Sales were up 1%, driven by strong performances from Ram (up 30%) and models like Ram 1500 and Dodge Durango. The company’s market share in North America rose slightly to 7.5%.
- Enlarged Europe: Passenger car BEV sales jumped 65%, aided by demand for the Smart Car and growth in France, Germany, and the UK. Market share dipped marginally to 14.8%, while light commercial vehicle leadership was maintained.
- South America: Despite a 4% drop in sales, Stellantis retained a region-leading market share of 18.6%. Models like Fiat Strada and Ram’s new Dakota showed strong gains.
- Middle East & Africa: Sales fell by 22%, impacted partly by market weaknesses in Türkiye and ongoing model transitions, including the phase-out of the Fiat Egea.
- Asia Pacific: Sales dropped 27%, mainly due to lower demand for the Citroën C5X. The company is expanding production and partnerships, including new models planned under the joint ventures in China and Malaysia.
Stellantis plans a FaSTLAne 2030 event in Modena, Italy on December 10, which may provide further updates on strategy and new models.
