Stellantis Pro One Leads Global Commercial Van Sales With Strong Growth in 2026

Stellantis Pro One has seen a solid 7% increase in global sales during the first half of 2026, strengthening its position as a top player in commercial van markets worldwide. The group’s commercial vehicle division dominates several key regions, from Europe to South America.

European Market Dominance, Especially in Compact Vans

In Europe, Stellantis Pro One sold 273,600 commercial vehicles in early 2026, earning a hefty 28.7% market share. This means more than one in four new commercial vehicles in major European countries like Italy, France, Spain, Austria, Poland, Portugal, and the Benelux region comes from Stellantis.

The company’s grip is even stronger in the compact van segment, reaching a remarkable 47.4% market share. Tradespeople such as couriers, plumbers, and local business owners prefer these smaller vans. Large vans also perform well, holding 25.3% of the market.

Electric Vans Gain Ground

Stellantis has taken a strategic approach to electric vans by offering select BEV (battery electric vehicle) models at the same price as diesel versions. This move eased concerns among corporate buyers and led to electric vans making up 15% of orders in Europe by June. Smaller and medium-sized electric fleet orders jumped 140% compared to the previous year.

Strong Presence in South and North America

Stellantis also boasts a powerful lead in South America, where it holds a 33.9% share of the commercial vehicle market. In Brazil, the Fiat Strada pickup is a key factor in this success, being both the top-selling commercial and overall vehicle. In Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, and Paraguay, Stellantis also commands major shares.

In North America, the launch of the new Ram Dakota in Brazil and a 27% sales increase for the Ram 1500 in the US have pushed commercial vehicle sales up by 13%, with the group reaching a 14.1% market share. Canada saw an 8% sales rise, and Mexico now sees Stellantis lead with an 18.8% share.

Market Share in Middle East and Africa and Future Plans

In the Middle East and Africa, Stellantis holds 22.3% of the commercial vehicle market overall and 36% specifically in vans. Its market share peaks impressively in Algeria at 84.6%. Looking ahead, Stellantis plans to showcase the new Smart Compact Van and updates to the CustomFit model at the IAA Transportation show in Hannover later this year.

While some competitors focus heavily on electric vehicle ambitions, Stellantis Pro One continues to grow steadily by meeting the real demands of commercial customers worldwide.
