Leaked patent drawings have given a clear look at the Lamborghini Revuelto SV’s new aerodynamic features ahead of its official debut at Monterey Car Week. The images outline key aero upgrades that transform the high-performance V12 hybrid into a sharper, track-oriented machine.
Aggressive Aero Enhancements Unveiled
The patent sketches reveal a significant redesign of the Revuelto’s front and rear aero components. At the front, the Revuelto SV shows a redesigned bumper with deeper air intakes and pronounced aerodynamic blades. A sharper splitter pulls the nose closer to the ground, aiming to improve airflow to the radiators and brakes.
Along the car’s sides, the SV version features chunkier side skirts and renewed air inlets that feed the mid-mounted 6.5-liter V12 engine and hybrid system. The rear end shows a dominating fixed wing and large vertical elements surrounding the exhaust outlets. Below, a massive diffuser extends around the center-exit pipes, exposing more of the underbody tunnels for enhanced airflow management.
Despite these changes, the overall body shell remains largely the same as the standard Revuelto, with distinct centerlock wheels adding to the track-focused look. The aero additions suggest Lamborghini is focusing on improving downforce and cooling efficiency for better track performance.
Performance and Track Setup Remain Largely Untouched
The Revuelto SV still uses the same plug-in hybrid powertrain as the standard model. It combines a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 with three electric motors, producing a total of 1,001 horsepower delivered to all four wheels through an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Reports indicate the SV may receive a power increase to around 1,065 horsepower, but this has not been confirmed by Lamborghini. The SV is also expected to come with chassis refinements, including updated suspension, brakes, and electronics tailored for track use. Weight-saving measures and more aggressive hybrid system tuning could further enhance driving dynamics.
Debut at The Quail During Monterey Car Week
Lamborghini has officially confirmed the Revuelto SV will debut at The Quail event during Monterey Car Week. It will arrive alongside the limited Revuelto Miura 60° Homage, which is capped at 99 units. Early spy images and prototype tests documented the Revuelto SV’s development, but the patent drawings offer the clearest view yet of its key aero and design changes.
Production of the Revuelto SV is rumored to be limited to 1,963 units, although Lamborghini has yet to confirm this.
