FPT is growing its presence in the US by expanding its long-time partner, M&L Engine, into North and South Carolina. This move extends the availability of FPT’s full range of off-road and power generation engines, ranging from 2.8 to 16 liters, across the Carolinas, boosting support for customers in that region.
Expanding Reach Across the Carolinas and Beyond
M&L Engine, based in Schriever, Louisiana, has built a solid reputation distributing FPT diesel engines, generators, and water pump packages along the Gulf Coast. With this expansion, the company will now cover additional territories including North Carolina, South Carolina, Arkansas, parts of Tennessee, and Texas, besides its existing Gulf Coast footprint.
Strengthening North American Distribution
This development adds to FPT’s broad North American network, which currently includes 10 distributors and over 400 sales and service centers. FPT’s Head of Sales & Marketing for North America, Chris Gittens, emphasized that M&L Engine’s commitment to quality products and customer care matches FPT’s goals for growth and enhanced regional support.
Building on Success in Texas
Ryan Marmande, President of M&L Engine, highlighted recent progress in Texas, where the company expanded its business by partnering with dealers like ASL Group, NexGen Equipment Sales and Service, and Closner Equipment. Drawing on this momentum, M&L Engine aims to provide similar service levels and support as it enters the Carolinas.
By broadening its partnership with M&L Engine, FPT aims to offer stronger regional service and better access to its engine portfolio for customers across multiple southern states.
