Fiat is keeping the third-generation Panda alive with a new special edition called the Pandina Tributo Autobianchi. Despite being around since 2011, this model continues to gain attention, marking its 15th year with fresh updates and a nod to Italian automotive history.
Tribute to a Classic Italian Compact
The Pandina Tributo Autobianchi honors the legacy of the Autobianchi Y10, a stylish compact car from 1985 that was based on the Fiat Panda platform. The Y10 was known for its upscale styling and quality finishes, setting it apart at the time. The reveal date of the Pandina Tributo Autobianchi—October 21, 2026—marks 30 years since the last Autobianchi Y10 was registered, linking the new special edition to its heritage.

Distinctive Features Set the Tributo Apart
This special edition builds on the Pandina package, itself a tribute to the Panda’s beloved Italian nickname. It is based on the Panda Cross, sitting above the Pop, Icon, and Cross trims in the lineup. The Pandina Tributo Autobianchi introduces a unique Platino paint color exclusive to this version, complemented by a black roof and tailgate for contrast.
Outside, the car features exclusive 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and specific Tributo Autobianchi badging. Inside, the interior is upgraded with light-sand microfiber seats featuring a “quadrettoni” pattern, matching door panel inserts, and a Platino-painted dashboard fascia. The instrument cluster and radio display special welcome graphics, and bespoke floor mats complete the package.

Continued Success and Production
Fiat will produce the Pandina Tributo Autobianchi at its Pomigliano d’Arco plant in Italy. The model keeps the Panda’s core qualities—simplicity, practicality, and versatility—while adding a bit of Italian elegance.
The Panda remains a strong performer in Europe’s A-segment city car market. Fiat recently reported over 100,000 Panda registrations in the first nine months of 2026, with 86,000 coming from Italy alone, marking a 7% increase compared to last year. The Pandina Tributo Autobianchi aims to build on that momentum with its exclusive style and heritage appeal.
