Stellantis’ best-selling vehicles in 2025 are not the expected European cars but a group of American pickup trucks. The Ram 1500, 2500, and 3500 pickups together sold around 437,500 units worldwide, placing them ahead of popular Peugeot models. This highlights how large trucks remain crucial for Stellantis, especially in North America, while European compact cars also keep strong sales figures.
Ram Pickups Lead Among Stellantis Models
The combined sales of Ram pickups topped Stellantis’ global list, despite a slight 4% drop from the previous year. Most of their sales come from the North American market. It’s important to note that this figure groups the three Ram models together rather than isolating the Ram 1500. This combined total was more than any single compact Peugeot model.

Peugeot’s Compact Cars Hold Strong Positions
Peugeot secured two spots on the sales podium with the 208 and 2008 models. The Peugeot 208 hatchback sold about 252,000 units despite dropping 8% compared to 2024. Meanwhile, the 2008 crossover increased its sales by 12% to reach 238,000 units. Peugeot’s 3008 also made it into the top 10 with a notable 18% jump, reaching roughly 158,000 units, showing significant growth.

Jeep and Other Stellantis Brands in the Mid-Rankings
Jeep placed three models solidly in the middle of the rankings. The Grand Cherokee ranked fourth with 226,000 units, but it saw an 8% decline. The Compass followed in sixth with 212,000 sales, down slightly by 2%, benefiting from demand in Europe and Brazil. The Wrangler stood out by growing 6% to 198,000 sales, despite strong competition from rivals like the Ford Bronco and Toyota Land Cruiser in North America.
The Citroën C3 claimed fifth place with 219,000 sales but was down by 4%, while the Opel Corsa, also sold as Vauxhall in some markets, rose 6% to about 195,200 units.

Fiat’s South American Models Enter Top 10
The Fiat Argo and Cronos, mainly sold in South America, appeared jointly at ninth place with around 166,000 units, a slight 1% decrease. The Argo is a hatchback made in Brazil, and the Cronos is a sedan built in Argentina. These models represent Fiat’s focus on Latin American markets rather than European lineups.
Understanding the Sales Data
These sales figures are compiled by analyst Felipe Munoz and combine various sources including registrations, industry data, and estimates. They are not an official Stellantis sales report and mix some models together for comparison.
The ranking clearly shows that while European compact cars remain important for Stellantis, large American pickups like the Ram family are dominant globally, mainly due to their strong presence in the US and Canada.
