Stellantis Names Arnaud Belloni CEO of FIAT, Abarth, and Lancia

Stellantis has appointed Arnaud Belloni as the new CEO of FIAT, Abarth, and Lancia, as well as Chief Marketing Officer for Europe. This leadership change is part of Stellantis’ FaSTLAne 2030 strategic plan, which aims to strengthen FIAT as one of the company’s four global brands. The new structure takes effect from September 1, 2026.

New Leadership Aligned With Stellantis’ Global Vision

Arnaud Belloni returns to Stellantis with extensive experience in automotive marketing and brand strategy. He previously worked 16 years with Stellantis brands in Italy and France before joining Renault, where he held senior marketing roles, including Global Chief Marketing Officer. Belloni will report to Emanuele Cappellano, Stellantis’ Chief Operating Officer for Enlarged Europe.

Belloni will oversee the strategic direction of FIAT, Abarth, and Lancia. His role includes aligning brand, product, and marketing strategies to support FIAT’s global growth ambitions.

Expanded Roles Support Brand Coordination

Gaetano Thorel will continue as head of FIAT and Abarth in Enlarged Europe and now also takes responsibility for Lancia. He will report functionally to Belloni, aiming to improve coordination and execution of commercial goals across the three brands in the region.

Olivier François, a veteran leader within Stellantis and its predecessors, will support Belloni through mid-October to ensure a smooth handover. François has held CEO roles for multiple Stellantis brands and was the company’s Global Chief Marketing Officer. He will remain with Stellantis as a strategic advisor.

FIAT’s Role Grows With New Products on the Horizon

FIAT is set to increase its market presence under FaSTLAne 2030, with plans to broaden its product lineup and reach international markets. Two forthcoming models, the Grande Panda and the Grizzly (including a Fastback version), will expand FIAT’s offerings in the important C-segment in Europe.

This organization shift aims to bring FIAT’s global brand status to life by using its wider portfolio and new products while keeping the brand’s core values of simplicity, accessibility, and practicality.

Transitions Mark a New Chapter for Stellantis Brands

This leadership update signals Stellantis’ commitment to elevating FIAT, Abarth, and Lancia within its global strategy. The new roles and reporting lines aim to strengthen marketing efforts and more tightly link product development with brand identity.

Details on further product launches and market plans are expected as FIAT continues to execute its expanded strategy.
