Jeep Avenger Keeps Lead Over Fiat 600 and Alfa Romeo Junior in Early 2026 European Sales

In the first half of 2026, the Jeep Avenger continued to outsell its platform-sharing siblings, the Fiat 600 and Alfa Romeo Junior, across Europe. Despite a slight drop in registrations compared to 2025, the Avenger maintained its lead among these three models built in Poland.

Declining but Leading Jeep Avenger

The Jeep Avenger recorded 51,503 registrations in the first six months of 2026. While this number is down from 53,744 units during the same period last year, it stayed ahead of the Fiat 600 and Alfa Romeo Junior. June registrations for the Avenger also fell slightly, from 7,606 vehicles in 2025 to 6,846 in 2026.

The Avenger’s strength comes from its versatile lineup, which includes gasoline engines, hybrid options, and a fully electric version. Additionally, Jeep offers an all-wheel-drive variant, attracting buyers looking for more capability. This variety helps the Avenger perform well in key markets like Italy, where it ranks as one of the popular B-SUV choices.

Fiat 600 and Alfa Romeo Junior Sales Drop More Sharply

The Fiat 600 posted 25,827 registrations during the first half of 2026, a clear decline from 34,331 units in the same period last year. June sales dropped from 5,664 to 3,928 units. While the hybrid version remains the preferred choice for customers, the fully electric 600e has not matched the sales levels of its hybrid sibling.

The Alfa Romeo Junior, finishing last among the three, reached 16,352 registrations in the first half of 2026, down from 18,549 units in 2025. June sales moved from 2,722 vehicles down to 2,561. Despite the decline, the Junior has become Alfa Romeo’s best-selling model and plays an important role in attracting a wider audience to the brand.

Comparison to Peugeot 2008 Highlights the Gap

When compared to the Peugeot 2008, another B-SUV but from a different group, the sales gap widens further. The French competitor recorded 88,717 registrations in Europe during the same period, far surpassing the combined performance of the Jeep Avenger, Fiat 600, and Alfa Romeo Junior.
