BMW 2 Series Coupe Transformed Into Off-Road-Ready M240i by Dubai Tuner

A Dubai-based tuning company, Zeus Offroad, has developed what it calls the world’s first off-road BMW 2 Series Coupe. This unique project converts the sporty M240i into a rugged, adventure-ready machine, offering a more affordable alternative to high-end off-road sports cars like the Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato and the Porsche 911 Dakar.

Off-Road Upgrades and Design Changes

The most notable change is the increased ground clearance thanks to a reworked suspension setup. This lifts the stance significantly compared to the standard coupe. Extended bolt-on wheel arches have been added to accommodate larger off-road tires, giving the car a tougher, more aggressive look reminiscent of some Liberty Walk-style modifications.

Additional practical features include a roof rack for extra cargo capacity and a pair of LED lights mounted above the windshield for improved visibility during off-road excursions. The wheels have a vintage rally-inspired design paired with chunky off-road tires to boost grip beyond paved roads.

Interior and Powertrain Remain Mostly Stock

Inside, modest changes suggest a focus on driver control and sportiness rather than full off-road luxury. A new racing-style steering wheel replaces the stock one; it notably lacks an airbag, indicating the car is likely intended for controlled environments or non-road use. Beyond this, the cabin appears largely unchanged from the production M240i.

The powertrain remains the same: a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline-six engine producing 382 brake horsepower and 500 Newton-metres of torque. It offers a quick sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just over four seconds, and an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h.

A Niche Take on the 2 Series

While off-road SUVs and crossovers are common, adapting a compact coupe like the BMW 2 Series for rugged terrain is unusual. Zeus Offroad’s creation brings an adventurous twist to a typically road-focused sports car. It may appeal to buyers looking for something unique without jumping to ultra-expensive models in the specialized off-road sports market.

Details on pricing, modifications extent, or production plans have not been announced. This project shows how tuners are experimenting with blending performance coupe dynamics and off-road capability.

More information is expected if Zeus Offroad decides to offer this package commercially or develop it further.
