Volkswagen Anhui has started rolling out a new over-the-air (OTA) software update for its Wuzhong 06 and Wuzhong 07 models. This update brings improvements mainly in the cabin interface, connectivity features, and intelligent driving assistance.
Faster Voice Controls and Improved Entertainment
The new update refines the user interface with smoother visuals and quicker voice response. Drivers can now use continuous voice commands more effectively. The entertainment system sees an upgrade with a better media interface that enhances the overall ecosystem for in-car entertainment.
Simplified Connectivity and Smarter Interaction
Connecting devices has been streamlined. Apple CarPlay devices automatically appear at the top of the list for easy access. Additionally, new shortcut methods allow quicker activation of functions, and popup notifications have been optimized to cause less distraction while driving.
Enhanced Driving Stability in Various Conditions
The intelligent driving assistance system is updated to better handle different weather and road scenarios, including tunnels, rain, fog, and low temperatures. As a result, lane-keeping assistance provides smoother and more stable driving support under these conditions.
These improvements are part of Volkswagen Anhui’s ongoing effort to refine the user experience of the Wuzhong family. The Wuzhong 06 is currently priced at around 134,900 to 144,900 yuan and offers a range of approximately 528 kilometres, while the Wuzhong 07 is priced from about 109,900 to 119,900 yuan.
