Fiat’s new Grizzly compact SUV, previewed in production-ready white, is making its final test runs ahead of the Paris Motor Show next week. This boxy, rugged crossover takes a traditional SUV shape, signaling a fresh direction for Fiat and possibly for Chrysler in North America.
Distinctly Rugged Look and Design Features
The Grizzly stands out with a sharply upright body, flat roofline, and chunky black cladding around the wheel arches and lower sides. Its stubby front overhang and bold black trim on mirrors, door handles, and roof rails create a strong contrast with the white paint. Up front, a slim horizontal light bar frames a large Fiat badge, flanked by pixelated rectangular LED headlights. The rear features a wide horizontal light panel with distinctive rectangular light clusters, a big Fiat logo, and “GRIZZLY” lettering, all topped with a sporty roof spoiler. The crossover rides on unique geometric alloy wheels that emphasize Fiat’s quirky style.

Basis for New Entry-Level Chrysler Models
While the Grizzly is a straightforward compact SUV for Europe, its importance in North America is greater. The crossover’s platform will underpin two new Chrysler models: the more traditional Chrysler Arrow Cross and the sportier Chrysler Arrow, which will be based on Fiat’s sleeker Fastback sibling. Both are expected to match the size of the Jeep Compass, measuring about 173 inches long.
Built in Morocco, these crossovers are expected to arrive with prices ranging from roughly $25,000 to $35,000. Stellantis has confirmed that these won’t be simple rebranded Fiats—they’ll feature unique exterior designs, interiors, and trim options tailored to the Chrysler brand.

Powertrain Options and Production Strategy
The Fiat Grizzly will offer various powertrains for the global market, including conventional gasoline engines, mild hybrids, and fully electric versions. Morocco’s position as a manufacturing hub helps keep production costs low, which could benefit pricing and availability in multiple regions.
The Grizzly’s launch at the Paris Motor Show will give a clearer picture of its final design and features. Meanwhile, more details on the Chrysler Arrow and Arrow Cross are expected as their launch approaches, marking an important step for Chrysler’s entry-level lineup.
