Dodge has opened its online configurator for the 2027 Charger, allowing customers to explore updated models and recent pricing. The 2027 lineup includes both the gasoline-powered and electric versions, with notable changes in prices and features, especially for the performance-focused variants.
Pricing Adjustments and Model Options
The 2027 Charger lineup drops the standard Daytona Scat Pack but keeps the base R/T, R/T Plus, Scat Pack, Scat Pack Plus, and Daytona Scat Pack Plus trims. Among these, only two trims have seen price changes:
- The top-tier Daytona Scat Pack Plus now starts at $77,490, up significantly from $64,990.
- The R/T trim price rose modestly from $54,990 to $56,285.
Other trims like the base R/T remain at $49,995, the Scat Pack at $54,995, and the Scat Pack Plus at $59,990. Two-door Chargers carry the standard pricing, with the four-door versions costing an extra $2,000 per trim, except the Daytona, which is only $500 more for the sedan.
Performance and Powertrain Highlights
The Charger R/T offers an eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, accelerating from 0 to 97 km/h in 4.6 seconds with a top speed of 257 km/h. The R/T Plus adds features like ventilated front seats, a 16-inch digital cluster, a head-up display, a 360-degree camera, and a power-operated rear hatch.
Higher up, the Scat Pack models use the Hurricane inline-six engine, with the SIX PACK SCAT PACK variant producing 550 hp and 720 Nm of torque. This model hits 0 to 97 km/h in 3.9 seconds and reaches a maximum of 285 km/h.
Electric Charger and New Technologies
The electric Charger in the 2027 range currently includes only the Daytona Scat Pack Plus. It has dual electric motors producing 670 horsepower (or 680 with Power Shot) and 850 Nm of torque. Performance figures show 0 to 97 km/h in 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 216 km/h. This version starts at $77,490.
New for 2027 is the addition of the North American Charging System (NACS) port, enabling the electric Charger to use Tesla Superchargers without adapters. The car’s 100.5-kWh battery (usable 93.9 kWh) offers up to 510 km range for the Daytona, while the Scat Pack electric version provides about 418 km.
Upcoming Model and Interior Updates
Dodge also plans to add the Charger Super Bee to the configurator later. This model will be the most powerful gasoline-powered Charger for 2027, but details on it are not yet available.
Inside, new Petrol Blue leather seats complement the existing Demonic Red options. Customers can also choose from a variety of exterior stripe designs, including blade, strobe, and dual stripes in Gloss Red, Satin White, and Satin Black.
