The problem

null The front seat belts, with their retractors, are mounted in the rear doors. Owing to the inadequate strength of the metal used for the rear doors, repeatedly closing of the doors, forcefully over a long period, may result in cracks. This could cause the seat belt retractors to become loose and, as a result, it is no longer certain that persons in the front seats will be secured in the event of an accident.
