The problem
The product poses a risk of fire because there is a possibility that the wiring of the instrument panel may become damaged by coming into contact with the steering column and/or with the clutch pedal switch housing. This can result in the failure of various electronic components, affecting the headlights, combined gauge, rear windshield wipers, etc. Ultimately, this could lead to a potential heat hazard and cause a fire. One reported incident.
