The problem
Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2025 TerraPro trucks. The steering gearbox fasteners may loosen.
Risk
A loose steering gearbox can result in a loss of steering, increasing the risk of a crash.
What owners should do
Dealers will inspect and tightened or replace the fasteners as necessary, free of charge. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk were mailed September 21, 2026.
