The problem
Do not drive. Virnig Manufacturing Inc. (Virnig) is recalling certain 2025 TR-HDD-1414 and TR-RHDD-1409 trailers. The bearing lock nuts may have been improperly installed, causing the bearing nuts to fail.
Risk
A bearing lock nut failure can cause the tire to detach from the trailer, increasing the risk of a crash.
What owners should do
Dealers will inspect and replace the bearing lock nuts, free of charge. All trailers were repaired by October 28, 2025. Owners may contact Virnig customer service at 1-800-648-2408.
