The problem
The cover of the front axle's suspension spring could be damaged and may allow water to ingress.This can increase the risk of steering failure due to corrosion. In addition, the rear spring bolt may be over or under-torqued and could fail while the vehicle is in motion. This can impair the driving stability, increasing the risk of accident.
