MINI Enters 2026 Rebelle Rally with New Rugged Model Variant

MINI will make its debut in the 2026 Rebelle Rally, participating for the first time in the United States’ longest all-women off-road navigation competition. The brand will enter a new rugged model variant designed to highlight MINI’s adventurous side in this demanding event.

New Variant Built for Off-Road Challenges

The 2026 Rebelle Rally covers around 1,500 miles across tough desert terrain in Nevada, California, and, for the first time, Utah. Competitors rely exclusively on maps, compass, and teamwork rather than GPS systems. MINI’s new model variant aims to prove its capability, durability, and sporty character through this challenge.

Details about this new MINI have been kept under wraps but are described as more rugged and suited for adventurous driving off the pavement. The full reveal of the vehicle is expected in the fall, alongside its global launch.

Experienced All-Women Driver Team

MINI’s entry will be driven by a skilled two-woman team combining a strong track record in rallying and navigation:

  • Driver: Felicia Killman from Washington, who has experience competing in the American Rally Association and races in specially prepared MINI stage rally cars. She is also a well-known member of the MINI enthusiast community.
  • Navigator: Erika Ferrer, part of BMW Group Mexico, has an extensive rally résumé with multiple regional championships and experience co-driving some top names like Benito Guerra. She brings both motorsport expertise and communications skills to the team.

Continuing MINI’s Rally Legacy

This event adds to MINI’s long history of rally success. The classic Mini Cooper S famously won the Monte Carlo Rally three times in the 1960s, and more recently, MINI has competed successfully in tough off-road challenges like the Dakar Rally.

MINI’s participation in the Rebelle Rally demonstrates its ongoing commitment to motorsport and adventurous driving. The new model variant and the rally campaign together represent a fresh chapter for the brand on demanding terrain and in a growing segment focused on women drivers.
