Jeep Plans Major Growth in Europe with Up to Six Models by 2030

Jeep is preparing to significantly expand its European lineup by 2030, aiming to offer as many as six different models. This move builds on the success of recent launches like the Avenger and Compass and continues Jeep’s commitment to providing various powertrain options across its range.

Different Platforms and Powertrains for a Diverse Lineup

According to Xavier Peugeot, who leads Jeep’s Enlarged Europe division, the brand’s Road to 2030 strategy involves using multiple platforms to support a variety of vehicle sizes and powertrain types. This approach allows Jeep to keep offering gasoline, hybrid, and fully electric versions while expanding its model count.

The compact Jeep Avenger is set to stay a key player. Since its update in May, it features new exterior and interior details, LED matrix headlights, and a 360-degree camera system. Customers can choose between a gasoline manual version and hybrid or electric powertrains, giving extra flexibility in one model.

One segment up, the Jeep Compass also embraces this flexible strategy. Built on Stellantis’ STLA Medium platform, it offers mild hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and fully electric options. The e-Hybrid has around 143 hp, while the plug-in hybrid pushes up to about 222 hp. The fully electric Compass 4xe produces up to 370 hp and uses two electric motors for all-wheel drive.

Expanding Electrification While Keeping Variety

The 4xe badge represents different technologies across Jeep’s models. For example, the Avenger 4xe employs a gasoline-hybrid system, while the Compass 4xe is fully electric with all-wheel drive. This mix allows Jeep to serve customers with varying needs without committing to a single electrification method.

Jeep’s growth plans come as part of Stellantis’ wider strategy called FaSTLAne 2030, which focuses investments on four core brands: Jeep, Fiat, Peugeot, and Ram, along with its commercial vehicle business. Jeep will benefit from this priority to fund new products and technologies through 2030.

While Jeep has confirmed the Avenger and Compass as part of its future range, new models remain under wraps. The company has not disclosed model names or launch timelines for other planned vehicles.

Jeep at the 2026 Paris Motor Show

Visitors to the Paris Motor Show (October 12-18, 2026) can find Jeep in Hall 7, in a dedicated space separate from other Stellantis brands. The longtime partner Neubauer will handle the booth, offering guests a chance to see the latest vehicles and learn about Jeep’s diverse powertrain options from dealership staff.
