Dubai tuning firm Venuum has revealed its unique project to transform Ferrari SF90 Spiders into modern interpretations of the classic Ferrari F40. Only six units will be made, each customized for individual owners. The first customer’s version features a striking white and turquoise color scheme and enhanced performance.
A Modern Tribute to the Ferrari F40
The V40 Spider project is a nod to the iconic Ferrari F40, combining retro styling with modern tech. The new body design features:
- White paint with two wide turquoise stripes from front to rear wing
- Color-matched brake calipers, seats, and interior accents
- Elements inspired by the F40, including four round rear lights, side vents, a fixed spoiler, and three exhaust tips
- Modern touches such as slim headlights, advanced aerodynamics, and updated proportions
While clearly referencing the 1980s supercar, the V40 Spider showcases a blend of classic and contemporary design without directly copying the original.
Enhanced Power from the SF90 Spider Platform
Under the carbon-fiber body lies a heavily tuned Ferrari SF90 Spider. The powertrain remains the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 paired with three electric motors but is expected to deliver around 1,100 horsepower. Key performance figures include:
- 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 2.3 seconds
- 0 to 200 km/h in about 6.5 seconds
- Top speed exceeding 340 km/h
These specs place the V40 Spider above both the original F40 and the base SF90 Spider in terms of outright performance.
Exclusive Production and Upcoming Launch
Venuum confirms the V40 Spider is moving forward from concept to production. The tuner has officially started development and plans to build just six units. Each car will be tailored to the owner’s preferences, making the model a rare collector’s piece.
The first customer vehicle unveiled suggests production could begin soon, with final details and pricing yet to be announced.
