The Jeep Avenger has quickly become a success for Stellantis in Europe. Since its launch in 2023, this compact B-SUV has gathered over 300,000 orders across the continent. This milestone highlights the growing appeal of the smallest Jeep model, especially with its electrified variants accounting for most of the demand.
Strong Growth Supported by Recent Updates
The Avenger’s rise accelerated notably in the last year and a half. Jeep reported 200,000 orders by mid-2025, which grew to 270,000 by May 2026 when the updated Avenger was introduced. Since then, around 30,000 more orders have arrived, coinciding with the launch of the refreshed model. Early deliveries of this update began in September 2026, so some orders may still be awaiting delivery.
This refresh was important as the Avenger is taking over sales from the larger Renegade, which Jeep discontinued while planning a future new generation. This shift gives the smaller Avenger a more critical role in the brand’s lineup.

Outperforming Platform Siblings and Holding Strong in Italy
Manufactured in Tychy, Poland, the Avenger shares its platform with the Fiat 600 and Alfa Romeo Junior. However, it leads in sales by a wide margin. In the first half of 2026, the Avenger recorded 51,503 European registrations, close to its 2025 figure, while the Fiat 600 and Alfa Romeo Junior lagged with under 26,000 and 17,000 units respectively.
Italy stands out as the Avenger’s largest market and a key contributor to its success. Jeep claims it is the country’s best-selling SUV and the second best-selling vehicle overall. For example, in February 2026, the Avenger managed 5,893 registrations there. Between January and September 2025, the figure reached 38,258 units in Italy alone.

Electrified Versions Drive 60% of Sales
The rising popularity of electrified models is notable. Jeep states that 60% of Avenger orders are for electrified versions, a share that has remained stable since mid-2026. This group includes the mild-hybrid e-Hybrid with 110 hp, the 4xe plug-in hybrid with 145 hp offering all-wheel drive, and the fully electric model with 156 hp.
In Spain, the share of fully electric Avengers is lower but still significant. In 2025, about 23% of Avenger registrations were electric, with the majority purchased by businesses rather than private users. This trend continued into 2026, with most electric orders still going to companies, particularly in the early months.

Looking Ahead for the Avenger
Jeep faces the challenge of maintaining the Avenger’s momentum as it moves into the latter half of its product cycle. So far, demand remains strong, and the model might even surpass the Renegade’s European sales record of 610,000 units set since 2014. The brand’s focus on electrification and strategic updates appear key to sustaining this growth.
