Volkswagen T-Roc 2027 Range Arrives with Updated Trims and Prices

Volkswagen has introduced the 2027 range of the T-Roc SUV with new trim levels and revised pricing in Spain. The model keeps its 1.5 eTSI engine, which qualifies for the ECO badge from Spain’s traffic authority (DGT).

New Trim Structure and Features

Volkswagen has simplified and refreshed the T-Roc lineup by dropping several previous trims, including Base, Launch Edition, MÁS, and R-Line 1st Edition. They are replaced by three trims available for the 2027 model year:

  • Match: Entry-level with LED headlights, alloy wheels (16″), digital 8″ instrument cluster, 10.4″ touchscreen infotainment, automatic climate control, adaptive cruise control, parking sensors, and multiple safety assists.
  • Style: Adds 17″ wheels, LED Plus headlights, heated front seats, a 3-zone climate system, ambient lighting with 30 colour options, remote tailgate, and smart parking assistance.
  • R-Line: Features sporty 19″ alloy wheels, IQ.LIGHT Matrix LED headlights, R-Line exterior styling and upholstery, sports seats with heating, and premium pedals.

Engine Options Remain Unchanged

The 2027 T-Roc continues to offer two gasoline mild-hybrid powertrains with front-wheel drive and 48-volt MHEV technology, enabling the ECO label:

  • 1.5 eTSI with 116 hp and 220 Nm torque, coupled with a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox; WLTP fuel consumption of 5.5 L/100 km and CO2 emissions of 125 g/km.
  • 1.5 eTSI with 150 hp and 250 Nm torque, also with 7-speed DSG; WLTP consumption of 5.5 L/100 km and CO2 emissions of 126 g/km.

Pricing for Spain

Prices for the updated Volkswagen T-Roc 2027 start from around €34,300 for the 116 hp Match trim. The 150 hp variant is available from approximately €35,800 in Match trim and €38,900 in Style trim. The sportier R-Line with 150 hp is priced around €42,600. These prices are effective from July 2026 and exclude discounts or promotions.

Why This Matters

Volkswagen’s streamlined T-Roc lineup with fresh trims and features aims to maintain its strong position in the competitive compact SUV market. Retaining the mild-hybrid 1.5 eTSI engines with ECO classification supports buyers looking for efficient urban-friendly options. The updated pricing and equipment make the T-Roc a practical choice for mainstream buyers in Spain for the coming model year.
