Cupra has revealed the 2026 Leon VZx Sportstourer AWD for Australia. It is the wagon version of the Leon VZx, but it is more powerful and more practical than the hatchback.
The new model starts from AU$72,490 driveaway, which is about US$50,015.
More Power Than the Hot Hatch
The 2026 Cupra Leon VZx Sportstourer uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine. It produces 245 kW, equal to 333 metric horsepower.
That makes it stronger than the Leon VZx Hatch, which produces 221 kW.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a seven-speed DSG automatic transmission. Cupra says the wagon can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds.
This makes it one of the fastest cars in its class.
All-Wheel Drive and Sport Features
The VZx Sportstourer is the only Leon model with all-wheel drive. It also gets rear torque splitting technology, which helps improve grip and handling.

The package adds Cup Bucket front seats with carbon fiber shells, darker exterior details, Matrix Ultra LED headlights, and upgraded performance hardware.
It also includes Akebono six-piston front brakes, giving the wagon stronger stopping power.
