Fiat Grizzly SUV Shows Off Its Basic, Budget-Friendly Version in Clear Spy Photos

A plain white Fiat Grizzly prototype has been spotted without any camouflage, revealing the simpler and more practical look of the entry-level model. Unlike the flashy versions often seen at auto shows, this version focuses on ruggedness and utility.

Stripped-Back Design Highlights Practicality

The photographed Grizzly features a no-frills exterior, dropping any shiny chrome or painted touches. Instead, it has black door handles, unpainted black side mirrors, and large dark plastic cladding around the bumpers, wheel arches, and sides. The roof stays white, matching the body color, with dark wheels accented by geometric light designs.

Its boxy shape and flat roofline carry over the bold style from Fiat’s new Grande Panda family, with sculpted door panels keeping some modern flair. On the C-pillar, a small badge shows a stylized bear next to the “Grizzly” name, emphasizing its tough character.

Size, Cargo, and Power Options

The Grizzly measures 4.39 meters long and offers a spacious 545-liter trunk. This is slightly smaller than the 4.49-meter Fastback sibling, which has a 608-liter cargo space. This difference fits the Grizzly’s focus on being a solid utility vehicle.

There are three powertrains available at launch. The base model uses a 100 hp gasoline engine with a six-speed manual transmission. Above that is a 145 hp hybrid paired with a six-speed automatic. Lastly, there’s a fully electric version powered by a 54 kWh battery that is said to deliver up to 400 km (248 miles) of WLTP-rated range.

Launch Timing and Pricing for Europe

The base gasoline model is expected to start at about €20,000 in Europe. The hybrid variant spotted is likely to have a higher price. Fiat plans to open European order books on January 5, 2027, with all powertrain options ready to go at launch.
