At the Paris Motor Show 2026, Hyundai introduced the Tucson N Line 2027, the sportier version of its latest compact SUV. This fifth-generation Tucson offers an upgraded design and stronger engines, including versions delivering up to 292 horsepower.
Sportier Design Stands Out
The Tucson N Line sets itself apart with clear styling upgrades. It features a new front bumper with a prominent spoiler and aerodynamic air ducts on each side. The side skirts and lower door trims match the body color, and the wheel arches are narrower than the standard Tucson’s. Glossy black side mirrors and similar black inserts on the rear pillars add to its athletic look.
At the rear, the bumper includes diffuser-like elements, and the exhaust outlets sport metallic, sporty detailing. New 20-inch alloy wheels complete the aggressive appearance. These changes come on top of the Tucson’s new “Art of Steel” design language introduced with this generation.

A Refined Interior with Sporty Touches
Inside, the Tucson N Line embraces a warm and understated style, but with clear N Line cues. Red stitching adorns the upholstery and the perforated leather multifunction steering wheel. Seats combine fabric and leather materials with a sporty design, while metal pedals and a footrest reinforce the dynamic character. Door sill protectors also carry the N Line branding.
The cabin features a 17-inch touchscreen running Hyundai’s Pleos Connect system based on Android Automotive. The full package of driver assistance features introduced with the new Tucson generation is available, ensuring modern comfort and safety.

Engine Choices and Performance
The Tucson N Line offers various powertrains starting with a 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline engine paired with a 48-volt mild hybrid system producing 150 horsepower. This engine comes with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic and front-wheel drive.
For a more eco-conscious choice, a self-charging hybrid (HEV) version combines the 1.6 T-GDi engine with an electric motor to deliver 245 horsepower. It offers a six-speed automatic transmission and is available with front-wheel or all-wheel drive. Its 1.49 kWh battery allows limited pure electric driving under certain conditions.
The top trim is a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) with either front or all-wheel drive. It uses a 17.1 kWh battery for an electric range of up to 67 km under WLTP. This version produces up to 292 horsepower, blending performance and efficiency. While the mild hybrid and self-charging hybrid have an ECO badge from Spain’s DGT, the plug-in model carries a zero-emission label.

Availability and Pricing
Hyundai has not yet confirmed the exact launch date for the Tucson N Line 2027. However, deliveries of the new Tucson family are expected to start in the first half of 2027, which might include the N Line version either at launch or shortly after.
Pricing details remain unknown, but the current Tucson N Line starts around €40,000 in Europe. The new generation’s N Line may be priced higher due to updates and enhanced technology.
The model will be produced in Europe, specifically at Hyundai Motor Group’s plant in the Czech Republic.
