CUPRA Raval Gains Sporty ABT Styling Without Power Increase

CUPRA has teamed up with ABT to offer a sporty customization package for the electric Raval, its smallest EV. The new ABT package debuts at the Paris Motor Show but does not boost the Raval’s power, which remains at 226 horsepower.

ABT Package Adds Racing-Inspired Design Elements

Rather than increasing performance, CUPRA and ABT focus on enhancing the Raval’s visual appeal. The package includes a front spoiler lip, side skirts, and a larger rear spoiler with black glossy paint and winglets. These parts give the compact EV a more aggressive stance without changing its core shape.

The rear hatch features an ABT logo on the left side, and the car rides on exclusive 19-inch alloy wheels. CUPRA also mentions handcrafted interior details in the package, but these have not been revealed yet. All ABT components will be installed directly at the CUPRA factory.

Power and Suspension Remain Unchanged

Currently, the Raval tops its range with a front electric motor producing 226 hp and a sport-tuned suspension that lowers ride height by 15 mm. CUPRA says it has no plans to launch a more powerful version of the Raval yet, believing this setup sufficiently balances daily usability and spirited driving.

Availability and Ordering Details

The ABT customization package will be available across Europe, including Spain, from late November. Buyers can order it new from dealers or have it fitted afterward at authorized service centers.

CUPRA indicates the package will only be offered for select versions of the Raval, likely starting with the 226 hp VZ variant and possibly the 211 hp Endurance trim. The entry-level 135 hp model will probably not be compatible with the ABT upgrade. Pricing details will be announced closer to the launch, with expectations that it could cost over €2,000 based on previous CUPRA-ABT collaborations.
