Ford Launches Puma ST Edition in Spain with 160 HP and ECO Badge

Ford has introduced a new special edition of its Puma SUV in Spain—the Puma ST Edition. This model builds on the sporty Puma ST trim and brings a mix of performance upgrades, unique styling, and extra equipment, along with the ECO environmental badge thanks to its mild hybrid powertrain.

Sportier Setup with Performance Suspension

The Puma ST Edition adds a KW Automotive-signed Performance Package, which features an upgraded suspension with stiffer springs that lower the ride height. This is designed to improve handling both on road and track, giving the Puma a sharper and more responsive driving feel than the regular sporty ST model.

Distinctive Design and Interior Touches

Visually, this special version stands out with its bright Azul Azura blue paint paired with a contrasting black roof. Inside, buyers will find illuminated door sills and a sporty leather-wrapped steering wheel, enhancing the cabin’s sporty and premium atmosphere.

Rich Standard Features List

The Puma ST Edition packs many features as standard, including:

  • 19-inch alloy wheels
  • Matrix LED headlights and LED taillights
  • 12.8-inch digital instrument cluster
  • 12-inch touchscreen with navigation, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay
  • Wireless phone charging and premium B&O sound system
  • Heated, adjustable front sports seats and multifunction heated leather steering wheel
  • Hands-free electric tailgate
  • Advanced safety aids like adaptive cruise control, 360-degree camera, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot warning, and emergency braking

Mild Hybrid Engine and Performance

Under the hood is a familiar 1.0-litre EcoBoost turbocharged three-cylinder engine paired with a 48-volt mild hybrid (MHEV) system. This setup delivers 160 horsepower and 248 Nm of torque, sending power to the front wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.

The Puma ST Edition accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.4 seconds and tops out at 210 km/h. Fuel consumption is officially rated at 5.9 litres per 100 km, with CO2 emissions of 135 g/km based on WLTP tests. Thanks to its mild hybrid system, the car carries the ECO badge from Spain’s transport authority, which can offer benefits like reduced tolls and access to restricted areas.

Pricing and Availability

The Puma ST Edition is priced at around €42,132 in Spain, with availability starting from August 2026. It aims to enrich the Puma petrol lineup by adding a more exclusive and advanced version of the sportiest variant currently available.

More details are expected as it approaches official launch.
