Maserati Sells Cars for €200,000—And Now a Product for €1.30
By Emir Bardakçı·
At Maserati, the contrast has never been more striking. The Trident brand is currently exploring every dimension of luxury, ranging from ultra-exclusive supercars exceeding €200,000 to high-end watches priced at €80,000. Now, they have introduced something entirely different: an object that anyone can own for just a little over a single Euro.
From the MCPura Supercar to Haute Horlogerie
Maserati has clearly outlined its ambitions in recent months. At the absolute pinnacle of its lineup sits the new MCPura. It is an exclusive, highly technological machine—and understandably, a very expensive one.
MCPura Key Specs:
Engine: 630bhp Nettuno V6
Acceleration: 0 to 100 km/h in under 2.9 seconds
Price: Over €200,000
The Italian brand has also made an unexpected leap into the world of prestige watchmaking. In collaboration with the Swiss company Bianchet, Maserati released a remarkable timepiece that proves the company wants to establish itself as a true signature of global luxury, rather than just an automaker.
The Bianchet x Maserati Watch:
Exclusivity: Limited to exactly 100 pieces worldwide.
Design: Features an ultra-thin tourbillon, a carbon case, and impressive shock resistance directly inspired by the engineering of supercars.
Price: 75,500 CHF (Approximately €80,000).
A €1.30 Stamp to Celebrate 100 Years of History
At the completely opposite end of this high-end strategy, Maserati unveiled a radically contrasting object: a postage stamp. Introduced in Rome on April 9, 2026, this special release celebrates the 100th anniversary of the famous Maserati Trident logo.
While it is not a luxury item in the traditional sense, it was designed for circulation, daily use, and spreading the Maserati image far beyond its wealthy clientele.

The Design: Condensing a massive legacy into a tiny piece of paper, the foreground features the modern Trident. It sits against a background motif inspired by the original 1926 logos and is enhanced by a tricolor band that proudly recalls the brand’s Italian roots.
From the Trident Myth to a Popular Object
There is a deeply strategic approach behind this launch. The Maserati Trident is much more than just a corporate logo. Born in 1926 and inspired by the Fountain of Neptune in Bologna, it symbolizes power, mastery, and Italian heritage. This emblem has accompanied the brand through its greatest triumphs, from the historical Targa Florio to modern marvels like the MC20 and MCPura.
By celebrating its centenary with a stamp that is accessible to everyone, Maserati is not just selling a product; it is telling a story. It highlights a brand capable of transitioning from the racetrack to the road, and from extreme luxury to an everyday object.
This contrast perfectly summarizes Maserati’s current strategy:
The Ultra-Exclusive: Supercars and haute horlogerie costing tens or hundreds of thousands of euros.
The Democratic: Symbolic objects that allow anyone to own a small piece of the Trident’s legacy.
A €1.30 stamp will naturally not generate the financial volume of a supercar or the profit margin of a fine watch. However, it contributes to something equally invaluable: the enduring construction of a brand’s image.
